Chun Yang International (HK) Co., Ltd. officially opened its “Hong Kong’s First EV Battery Processing Plant” at EcoPark in Tuen Mun this year. Alongside advancing the construction and operation of the facility, the company has recently received multiple industry awards, reflecting its sustained commitment and practices in employee care, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and green and low-carbon development.

Chun Yang International Recognised under the Industry Cares Recognition Scheme

The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and its Committee on Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) held the presentation ceremony of the Industry Cares Recognition Scheme 2026 on 8 October. Chun Yang International (HK) Co., Ltd. was awarded the 3 Years+ Caring Certificate at the ceremony.

This year’s scheme adopted the theme “Industry Cares: Serving the Community with Heart” and honoured companies that have performed outstandingly in fulfilling corporate social responsibility, promoting social inclusion and advancing sustainable development. The event was honoured by the presence of Mr Chris Sun Yuk-han, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, as Guest of Honour.

Chun Yang International Honoured under the 2026 Partner Employer Award

On 15 September 2026, Chun Yang International (HK) Co., Ltd. attended the presentation ceremony of the 2026 Partner Employer Award, organised by The Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business, and received two awards for “Existing Employee Retention” and “Staff Expansion”. The scheme recognises companies that actively fulfil their social responsibilities and stand by their employees through difficult times.

Guests of Honour at the ceremony included Mr Ho Kai-ming, JP, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, together with industry leaders and representatives of social service organisations. Launched in 2010, the Partner Employer Award recognises employers that hire local tertiary graduates and other disadvantaged groups, encouraging more companies to fulfil their social responsibilities and build a harmonious workplace.

Chun Yang International Wins BOCHK Corporate Low-Carbon Environmental Leadership Awards 2025

On 19 August, the 2025 Award Presentation Ceremony and 2026 Kick-off Ceremony of the BOCHK Corporate Low-Carbon Environmental Leadership Awards, organised by FHKI with full support from Bank of China (Hong Kong), were held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Miss Wong Shuk Han, JP, Acting Secretary for Environment and Ecology of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, officiated at the event, which was attended by nearly 400 guests and corporate representatives. Chun Yang International (HK) Co., Ltd. received the BOCHK Corporate Low-Carbon Environmental Leadership Awards 2025 and was recognised as “EcoPartner”.

Launched in 2015, the Awards encourage manufacturing, services and property management enterprises in Hong Kong and the Pan-Pearl River Delta region to adopt environmental measures, reduce carbon emissions and, by extending the programme progressively to SMEs, bring more companies into the decarbonisation effort. This year’s edition attracted more than 1,100 participating companies.
