Chun Yang International Shares Sustainable EV Battery Solutions with Belt and Road Nations

Recently, the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department (EPD) organized the ” First Green Silk Road International Training Program on Environmental Technologies and Sustainable Development ” for 13 environmental officials from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, sharing Hong Kong’s expertise in environmental protection and climate change mitigation. On October 30, delegates visited Tuen Mun EcoPark, where Mr. Ricky Ng, Senior Project Manager of Chun Yang International ( a subsidiary of Envision Greenwise) , presented Hong Kong’s First EV Battery Processing Plant’s progress and the Envision Greenwise Group’s global battery recycling ecosystem.
Mr. Ricky Ng highlighted that Hong Kong’s EV fleet has exceeded 130,000 vehicles. The facility, scheduled for commissioning in H1 2026, will serve as:
✓ A critical hub for processing retired EV batteries and other lithium-based batteries locally
✓ A strategic node supporting the Group’s 70+ global service points across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Following the session, Dr. AU Sze Man, Vanessa, JP, Deputy Director of the EPD, presented certificates to the participants and thanked industry partners for their active engagement. Delegates expressed that the program provided insights into cutting-edge green technologies and zero-carbon community strategies, inspiring new approaches to drive sustainable development in their home countries. Moving forward, Chun Yang International will continue to foster international dialogue and collaboration, working with global partners to build a greener future.
