On December 8, 2024, the four-day International MotorXpo Hong Kong (IMXpo) 2024 concluded successfully. Chun Yang International showcased its smart EV charging facilities and advanced battery recycling technology at the expo, providing the public with the latest development in green transportation section.

The International MotorXpo Hong Kong 2024 was jointly organised by the International Motor Show (HK) Management Limited (IMSHKML), the Hong Kong, China Automobile Association (HKAA), and the Motor Traders Association of Hong Kong (HKMTA). Under the theme “Mobility – An Infinite Future”, this year’s IMXpo featured over 100 exhibitors, including more than 30 international automotive brands, and recorded over 100,000 visits. In the “New Energy and Future Mobility Pavilion,” Chun Yang International showed a series of electric vehicle charging facilities and technologies for EV battery recycling, which attracted a steady stream of visitors for communication.

Along with the rapid growth of the electric vehicle market in Hong Kong, how to handle the retired electric vehicle batteries properly has become an important issue that concerns the industry and the public. Chun Yang International is currently constructing the “Hong Kong’s First EV Battery Processing Plant”,  upon completion, the Plant will achieve full utilisation of EV battery through cascade utilization and recycling, contributing to enhanced development in greening transportation within Hong Kong and the Great Bay Area.
